Winkhaus UK’s Innovative Double Door Solutions

Door and window specialist Winkhaus UK is dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of multi-point locking systems, tailored to meet the requirements of our customers. Delivering a modern mix of security and style, our Double Door solutions are no exception, with a range designed and tested to provide a lock that’s suitable for every eventuality.

Compatible with all Winkhaus’ multi-point locking systems, FAB is a high security slave door lock which doesn’t require additional components, making it the ideal solution for a sleek, modern double door design.

Easy to operate, FAB presents a stylish alternative to traditional slave slocks, featuring a flush, integrated two-way paddle which engages two heavy-duty shootbolts into the head of the cill for robust security.

With sizes ranging from 1853mm to 1880mm that suit tall French doors and main entrances with side panels, FAB caters to modern design and accessibility needs.

Suitable for composite, timber and aluminium double doors, FGTE is compatible with our Thunderbolt and Cobra multi-point locking solutions, and has the capability for door designs exceeding 3 metres in height.

Designed with versatility and flexibility in mind, FGTE is tested to comply with PAS:24 and the Police Secured by Design initiative.

Tailored for double doors with a dummy mullion, FGTI is a locking system compatible on timber, aluminium and UPVC constructions.

FGTI uses the Cobra masterlock, consisting of two high tensile steel hooks, latch and deadbolt and FGTI incorporates shootbolts on both the slave and master doors, enhancing its security.

Lever operation facilitates the engagement of 25mm throw hooks, ensuring smooth system operation.

Similar to FGTI but crafted for aluminium doors, UGTE features a U-rail and accommodates a diverse range of door sizes. Integrating with Winkhaus’ Thunderbolt, Cobra and Trulock multi-point locking systems, UGTE maintains a classic appearance with handles on both the slave and masterlock.

Like all our multi-point locking systems, Winkhaus’ Double Door range features our innovative Nano Protect coating as standard, which protects the hardware from corrosion and the ability to recover from everyday wear and tear.
